Corey Griffin
President

Corey Griffin is an accomplished senior executive, with 30+ years of experience building, growing and repositioning investment management firms.

He has provided leadership in a variety of roles, including CEO, COO, President, Chairman, and Board Director with a demonstrated ability to drive revenues, manage change and convert strategy into results.

Most recently he was the CEO of Boston Private Wealth, a subsidiary of publicly traded Boston Private Financial Holdings (BPFH), and oversaw a transformation of overall strategy: redesigning the business model to create a more appealing offering, leading to significant growth in clients, assets, and geographic reach.

Prior to joining Boston Private in 2013, he served as the president of The Davis Companies, a leading Boston based real estate company. Under his leadership the company evolved from its legacy focus on regional investment and development on behalf of high net worth investors into a platform with national capabilities and the ability to raise discretionary pools of assets for institutional investors.

From 1994 to 2011, he was at The Boston Company Asset Management, BNYMellon’s largest and most profitable asset management affiliate where from 2001 to 2009, he was the Chairman and CEO. Under his direction, the firm grew from $25 to $75 Billion in AUM with over 40 separate global equity strategies offered through the institutional, private client and retail channels.

He serves as the President of the Corey C. Griffin Charitable Foundation whose mission is to change the trajectory of the lives of youth from under-resourced communities. He also is on the Board of Trustees at The Carroll School in Lincoln MA, one of the nations’ leading schools for elementary and middle school students who have been diagnosed with specific learning difficulties in reading and writing such as dyslexia.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard University and is also a graduate of Harvard Business School.
